With respect to the stolen FetishCrawler.com domain:

I have been running the FetishCrawler.com link directory since 1999 and quite liked doing so...
However, in May 2004 this domain name was stolen from me by someone who hacked into my registrar's account, changed my email address, and then transferred it away. He even had the nerves of simply copying the whole source code and all the graphics!

And no need to say that I have all the documents that can proof that I am the rightful owner of this domain name.

My registrar didn´t want to help me, and I kinda got stuck for some time, since I didn´t know the thief's real identity.
However, I have recently been able to track down this cheat, and I am seriously thinking of putting the case in the hands of a Canadian lawyer (because that is where the scammer resides), with the help of some fellow webmasters who have experienced similar cases. It seems that I am not the only one this person has been stealing domains from...

What has happened in the meantime with the FetishCrawler domain?
At first, the thief maintained the existing (read:copied) listings for some time, but finally decided to remove everything, including your site(s)!!
Why? Because he didn´t have my script nor my database, and thus was unable to accept new submissions or update the existing ones.
I have been informed that he even tried to get his hands on a copy of my script, paid for it, had it installed, and then revoked the payment (hehe, I bet that this didn´t surprise you at all).
But he had some bad luck there, because the programmer was still in time to remove all the script files from his server.
That is why he was unable to accept and add your submissions for quite some time, and finally decided to simply delete all listings, install a new script and start from zero. I know that he has been emailing some of you about that fact (probably those of you that had been using an email address belonging to the domain used to submit)...

In short, your sites can no longer be found at FetishCrawler.com and no further traffic will come from that domain.

The good news is that I recently decided to start with a brand new link site: PornLinksDirectory.com
And to get things rolling, I have already started to drive some traffic to it...

And most of the sites that were listed at FetishCrawler before it was stolen, can now be found @ Porn Links Directory!
I did make some changes in the rules with respect to those at FetishCrawler and added a couple of new categories.
The only sites that have been removed from the list were those that were dead, redirecting or not respecting one or several of the current rules, which you can read here.

Sorry for this long story, but I am really decided to fight this thief and his criminal practices
